Huge props to this courageous woman.

While I don’t share her faith, I have nothing but respect for those who take the Gospel to heart and sincerely practise what Jesus preached. And that grand and radical tradition has nothing in common with the Cult of War and Mammon that seems to be the official state religion of America today.

How many times a week do I read of some heartless, brutal statement or action by (usually) some old white man in power in Washington or a boardroom, and mutter to myself, “How can he call himself a Christian? How can he face himself in the mirror on Sunday morning getting ready to to to church?”

Here’s a woman who is putting her heart where her mouth is. Here’s a genuine leader for our times. Here’s a real Christian. I salute her.
