Reminds me of the old joke/anecdote about the fisherman on the beach of some unnamed Pacific Island. Capitalist on vacation sees this fisherman lounging on the beach in the shade next to his proa or whatever type of boat. Walks up and says, “Quitting time already? How come you don’t work harder?” Fisherman says “Why should I? I’ve caught enough fish for today.”

Capitalist says, “But if you worked more hours and caught more fish, you could hire some help and catch even more fish, and then you could buy another boat and hire crew, and catch even more fish. And after you did that for long enough you wouldn’t even have to work, you could just hire other people to do the fishing for you. Or you could invest your money wisely and be able to retire and, you know, just take it easy and sit on a nice beach somewhere…”

Fisherman gives him a long, slow look.
